The Jobsite Runner

A remote-control jobsite cart in development. The Jobsite Runner concept adapts the beach-cart platform for tools and material, with control from a handheld transmitter.

I'm a construction PM. I built this cart to haul my family's gear across beach sand — a million people watched it drive itself on TikTok. Then I looked around my own jobsites and realized the same machine solves a bigger problem: there are tools and materials to move across the site every day.

The planned specification

Remote-control drive — you drive it from the transmitter at walking pace, no hands on the machine. Prominent E-STOP on the remote.
Welded aluminum frame — the same overbuilt chassis as the beach cart, welded in 2022 and proven in salt air and soft sand.
Flat deck + stake-pocket rails — accepts ladder racks, lockable tool-crate mounts, lumber arms, barrel rings, tie-down kits.
Remote-control operation — planned around a paired handheld transmitter.
Developed in Massachusetts — by someone who runs job sites for a living, with the planned features shown here subject to testing and final specification.

What it's not

It's not a concrete buggy. Pallet-quantity masonry and deep mud want a tracked machine — if that's your work, buy the tracked machine. The intended role is carrying tools and materials across finished ground. Site suitability and operating limits will be established through testing.
